I use everything, thin to thick depending what I'm playing. I don't swear by any one certain pick maker of thickness.

anyone use finger picks? i generally don't because i never really play anything to fast w/o a pick... i'll do some more melodic things with my fingers, but i don't use finger picks, they aren't ver comfortable to me

I use big Fender medium triangles, the ones with the rounded points. The rounded points keep me from getting tangled up in the strings and the big size gives me more to hang on to. I switched over to these babies and found playing to be alot easier, especially when jumping from string to string during those fast flurries of notes.

I mostly use Dunlop .60mm tortex picks, sometimes the Fender tortex .60mm's but they seem to wear out quicker than the Dunlops. I also use the Dunlop tortex .73 mm picks, more so lately, but that has always been an option if they're out of the .60mm where I shop. If I can't find any of those a good medium pick will always do, I prefer the Fender's, but again, the non-tortex wear out even quicker for me.
You might say I'm kinda "picky" about my pics, LOL!!!
