Good morning all. Running a bit slow this morning, out late and up early for rehearsal at church. Went to see a band last night called Legends and had a blast. I was able to climb up on stage and play a tune.

Cold again here in Blaine after getting teased with some warm weather (we'll take what we can get). Coffee is brewing and I am listening to a bit of Ronnie Earl. Looks like I will need to buy some Lonnie Mack for my music collection though after listening to him off a thread here in the Lounge. Lonnnie seens to know his way around the fretboard - I was impressed as usual.

I hope you all have a wonderful day and keep those note flying into the air.

Beaubs....

Good morning Beaubs and all! "Warm weather" are the words for the past few days, including today, for Chicago. 50s in February is a very different Chicago February. :D and with your musical suggestion in action Beaubs, notes are flying from my fretboard to the land of flying fretboard notes or where ever they are supposed to go

Post pics when you're done, K? I always wanted one of those Taylor wooden stands but could never justify the price.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Morning all, late start myself. But can't blame me, yesterday it was 56 degrees, got up to start the coffee and it was 18 degrees. Time to start a fire, sit back and get the guitar out. Hope all is going well with everyone else, enjoy the weekend, and keep the notes a-flying.

Mornin' one and all, greetings from one of the most changable climates of the moment. Yesterday we set a new temp. record for the date of 67 degrees, today it's upper 20s and wind gusts near 50 mph. Big frozen falling apple.
New strings and picking with Vince Gill cds is the order of the day, might even fire up a second pot of coffee.

Crank 'em up,
John.E

Good morning to everyone, had a look out the window and whatched the snow blow by sideways at 50mph, -8 and the wind kep me up most of the night, it has it's own song.
Played for 30 min on the srv and calmed myselve down, sposed to travel today but I think I'll just sit and think some about everything I've read this morning in the lounge,
throw on Allman brothers, FILLMORE EAST and have a beerfie with duane A, dickey betts
and the crew, look at the wife and bug her with you don,t love me, she says that song is
to long, and when she does it gives me the statesboro blues, have a great day every one
and thanks for all the insight into everything, youes know your stuff. oh and thanks fender for the forum, saves lives ya know!.

Good morning everyone!

It's getting colder out now after it was almost 60 yesterday. I enjoy warmth, but I'm also a winter guy so it's all good for me. Not listening to anything right now except the sound of wind outside. Thinking about playin' some Bob Dylan tunes later.

Afternoon Beaubs and all! Well, today has been running around shopping and taking care of our fur baby Holly at the vet. Now, I am going down to Indian River Studio South and trying to get the remaining tracks recorded prior to sending it up to a buddy in Nashville who has expressed an interest in publishing it. I hope everyone has a great weekend and will chat with you all soon.
ABS :D
