I found Audacity to be incredibly helpful in helping me remember the riffs I come up with (not that they're any good). But I get this odd feeling whenever I play them back, like they were written by a kid or something. It's really a rather indescribable feeling, to be honest. I almost feel like it's my mind trying to tell me "Nice try, but try harder." Heh.

Does anyone else ever have this kind of feeling when they play back the riffs they record or write down, or am I the only one?
