so a guy i stumbled onto this evening is offering me a fender twin.
"the twin", as he called it. i dont know if "the twin" was some spinoff of
the twin amp we all know and love or if its just the way hes saying it.
heres the deal, i dont know the yr ok, but its missing both speakers and all the tubes.
$125 takes it home he says. ok i have a place that i know of that im thinking
i can work a deal to test this amp with speakers and tubes, as long as if its a go, i'll buy the speakers and tubes off him.
im wondering if i should invest the $125 and try to work my deal with the local amp repair shop or not. if its on the up and up, im in a twin for probably $300 or a touch more.

That the amp I was telling you about. Is it a red knob or a black knob. There not a bad amp very loud and heavy. They are swichable from 100 to 25 watts. In good shape there worth about 500 bucks. I think they were made from about 84 to 94.
