Nice. Never saw one before, tho.

'Do have an MIJ Jazzmaster of 95 vintage; pups were not "real," basically narrow Strat ones with JM covers.

Replaced with AVRI Fender JM pups and JoAnn became the equal of any MIM, a sweetie/favourite/keeper.

I got one just like yours. Second one I've owned. First one got
stolen. They were 94 ish. Neck I think is slightly thinner depth. I like it.
Never come out of tune. First one had brass cavity plate inside. This one didn't.
Don't know if that got removed or what. First one the finished cracked easy. This one not. Both play (ed) like a dream. File the bass string groove a little and throw some
clear fingernail polish on the bridge screws. Put SD antiquity 2 pups in mine. Les Paul toggle and painted the cavity with shielding paint. And a graphite nut.
Kept the 1 Meg pots too. Just turn them down to 7 when playing.
I find the 1 megs don't muddy up when you turn them down.
Enjoy. Great for all types but that tremolo gets you playing surf/spaghetti western moody stuff real quick. It's for art for sure but can rock out too.
Lead pup is like a flat tele sound - rockabilly. Middle is belltone heaven. Neck is strat/tele but way thicker-woodier. Jazz setting is good when fuzzed but my red jag actually sounds jazzy with that jazz setting on upper bout.
Enjoy! I opened up for dick Dale with mine. Late 90's.
I got to handle his guitar thanks to his guy..seemed small..thin neck and those crazy heavy strings. I dont see why the thinner strings have to be so heavy.
I have thick strings kind of 10-52. But he doesn't bend notes much..I digress... :)
