the grammys are for the sheeple. the real winners are those you like. i'm just not sure how clapton fits into those lame awards.......hmmmm?

A lot of Muse's songs does sound very new agey, but there are some that they absolutely throw down in, and that's why I like them.

I grew up listening to Tom Petty, and Pearl Jam is one of my favorite bands. They are all great :) but COMPLETELY different. I still think Muse falls under the rock catagory, its become such a broad genre.

Don't forget that Country Music was involved (in CA, it'd be on the hook for child support).

I got to attend a show at the Bohemian Club in SF that was all about Southern Rock. Haley Barbour was the Sire of the evening (yes, THAT Haley Barbour). Coolest moment of the evening was when he said that the term "Southern Rock" didn't make any sense, and that you're just repeating yourself because Rock and Roll originated in the south.
