Well he continues, Dale will have to start at the back of the pack in the Daytona 500 because he went into the outside wall in practice with his car. Now he has to go to a backup car because he was drafting with Jimmie Johnson and Johnson slowed suddenly causing Dale Jr. to bump him and spin out. There goes the pole position.

I don't think he has a chance even from the poll. I know there are thousands of very sentimental fans of his, and his fathers, that want to see a Jr win on the tenth anniversary of his fathers death at Daytona, but he just is not the driver everyone wants him to be.
