Hi to all fender fans and experts alike, I,ve got a question regarding the srv I own, it,s a
2006 and i,am proud as can be to have it, but I was told by a so called know everything
that it should bare anniversary markings like the rest, holy crap.
From the research i,ve done and information passed on to me by others in the business
this applies to only a certain pre order lot and order/purchase date if at all.
Any info on this would really help.

I don't know the answer to your question but I suggest checking eBay for SRV strats made in 2006 and see if they have the markings.

You could pull the neck, I think it will have an SRV stamp on the neck heel and the neck pocket on the body.

Chances are he's just trying to ruin your enjoyment of your guitar. I have an SRV and it's just perfect so I know how you feel.

The ones I have seen on line do not have the 60th badge on them. I dont think all 2006 guitars have it.

I may be wrong, but I don't think any of the artist models (SRV, Clapton, etc.) have badging for anniversary years (50th, 60th, etc.). The best way to find out would be to contact Fender support ask if there was supposed to be any extras such as these.

I love the necks on those SRV Strats...dang near perfect!
