+1 Sounds more like a crawl  Just kidding.

Slow 12 bar Blues, I agree with both cedarblues and tbazzone and wouldn't consider it a shuffle either. Maybe technically, but not a shuffle feel to me at all. Not criticizing your ability or knowledge, I just ain't feelin it.

ok guys what if we just speed the whole thing up a bit, then would it have the feel of a shuffle to you?

This is more like a shuffle to me... as Albert would say, it's gotta heck of a groove to it :)

Sucked?? I don't know about that... but you're right, it's not the kind of groove Albert usually plays and he hardly ever played in E, not that easy with his tuning.

This is one of the only tunes he does in E... and this is more like his kinda shuffle

Thanks for this lesson, I'm still learning to play. This is something I can actually play between figuring everthing else out.

I did, I have it bookmarked in my favorites for fast access. I have the day off tomorrow and plan on exploring the site in depth.

Robert, how do you like that Squier Strat compared to a Fender standard Strat. (almost forgot to ask  )

The Squier is quite crappy in comparison. I have upgraded mine, and now it has better pickups than a Standard Strat, and it also has a quality Fender bridge.

I use this one as a backup guitar. It does sound pretty good.

thanks for being frank Robert. When I have played them side by side your description is right on Bro  . The Squier did sound good though.
