I know I'm going to hear the requests to post pics, But I don't own a digital camera or have a wire to plug my phone in to the computer AND i'm running Linux so I dont know where to start with posting a pic, But here goes anyway, I sold my MIM 2007 Roadhouse Strat on Craigs list about two weeks ago, and the guy who bought it was as happy as I am today. I went to Guitar Center today and bought an American Special. (my first American Strat.) And it is beautiful. It's 3 color sunburst with the black pickguard and Rosewood. Texas specials and Atomic Humbucker. I like the way it sounds and am leaning toward leaving it stock pickupwise, but I most likely will deck the trem. The Fret edges are kind of sharp, so they will have to be looked after when I bring it in for the first setup next week. The larger headstock isn't my favorite but I can learn to live with it. Funny thing, It feels a little heavier than my Roadhouse did. Well I sold my old roadhouse for $350. W/ Lindy Fralin split blades. ( I thought the guy buying it was going to faint before he got out of my apartment) and I bought the Am Spec. for $799.00. I got one of the last two GC Scottsdale had left in the store. And the other guy that bought my Old Roadhouse is Happy (I will miss her) but I really do like this new baby, and I am looking forward to getting everything squared away with it. Well.
