I'm just introducing myself today. I'm a Fender guy. Always have been always will be. I've owned over 50 basses and of those the Fenders have always been the best overall, durable and best sounding. I went off track a few times and purchased other popular brands and even though some may be made better and cost more-- I always come back to my P basses or Jazzes. They're just the best. In live situations they have the kind of honkin' sound and sustain and tone feedback I need. Okay.................
I just picked up a 08 Blizzard Pearl Jazz with rosewood the other day. Nice. Yesterday I traded a MM for a Geddy Lee. Good trade! And I have to say I am really impressed with my Roadworn P bass.
I used to be a believer in Badass II bridges but as the years have gone by I think they absorb vibration and actually deaden the sound of a bass.
I'm an avid Rotosound player. I don't care if they eat frets.

So now you know me a bit. :D Glad to be here and thanks! Let's Rock!!

Hi Stroker and welcome aboard. We have a few bass players around here (they're always nice to have if a jam breaks out). Come to think of it I don't think I've ever heard a bass player joke around here, so you gonna like it here  . Again Welcome!

Hi there, stroker vance, and welcome to the club! I hope you enjoy it here!

Let me -quite egotistically- point you towards a way to post pictures here:

I'd create an account at photobucket.com or some other hosting service. There you upload the pictures.
You can embedd pictures if you paste links into the message you're creating, then highlight the link and press on the "Img"-button at the top of the menu.

Or, and even easier, you can trigger an already formatted link of the desired image straight from photobucket, and simply paste it into the message.

Have fun and again: Welcome!

Cheers,

-Nutter

Welcome to forum.

A Bass guy, huh?

And a Fender guy too. Admit it though, a nice Ric bass really hits the spot too.

Disclaimer: the only bass this guitar player (me) owns is a 4003.
