blacktop tele on the way!!

after months and months of saving (i started in september last year) i finally have almost enough money for a blacktop telecaster. i told my dad this and he said "ok", i thought he didn't care. but a couple of days ago, i got home from jail, sorry, school (cant tell the difference :wink:

) and he said he'd rang up the albury music shop and ordered one in

they say it should be here in mid march. i just hope he actually ordered the right one :lol:

( i'm sure he did as i had it all written down on a peice of paper). now its just a matter of waiting.............

i know, my brother just gets into alot of arguments with my dad so that makes me look good

forgot to mention this, it cost $800, i've got $600, so i've still got a bit of saving i can do before it gets here

I think Musicians Friend had that same guitar for around $450.00 bro....$800 seems a litlle pricey,but if your supporting your local mom and pops music store than I say good on ya.I'm always trying to save a buck...I'M A CHEAPASS :lol:

i've decided to leave it sticker-less for a couple of months when i get it, decide then.
i would've brought it from MF, but that item doesn't ship to australia, big bummer. plus, my mum wasn't to keen on it anyway.

Congrats! I bought one last year in Tungsten / Rosewood. Build quality is very good for a MIM. It is right up there with my MIAs. Its tone has a real attitude!
