I have two of the Egnater 112 cabs. I think they're great sounding cabinets. The have a 80 watt Celestion Elite 80 custom tweaked for Egnater to enhance and tighten up the bottom end and are front ported cabs. Give the speaker time to break in. You'll be even more impressed. I have a Rebel 20 and it sounds phenomenal with that amp. I've been looking at the LiL Nightrain. The Vox Nightrain amps are really nice. Congrats.

Thanks Supro, I picked the egnater cab because I thought it would be a little better than the Vox cab, and I think I made the right choice. While I'm waiting for the speaker to break in I'll just enjoy it as is. I think Egnater makes some great stuff and would seriously consider one of their heads if in the market again.

Hey Mainburner. I also have a Highway One Telecaster, and Im thinking of getting a night train. what does the highway one sound like through it? cheers

My HWY1 sounds amazing through the Night Train. In the "bright" mode the sound is so clean and you really get that sweet Vox chime. When I want a warmer sound I couple it with the Bad Monkey pedal...the HWY1 sounds so good with that combo. I love playing a mildly distorted "Like a Hurricaine" with the HWY1. I put the NT in "thick" mode and it really sounds sweet. All in all, it's a great combination.

I did compare the NT and the tiny terror. For me, the NT had more bite. I also like the two wattage choices. Nice for late-night practicing.

Toddee,
I played a Highway One Tele through the Vox Night Train NT15H last night with the matching 1-12 Celestion loaded cabinet. It was great on both Bright and Thick. I worked it for clean and some nast. Wonderful sound, just concerned with stage/room coverage. May want to bump up to the NT50H. If it has the same produce as the NT15 a person is set for some good sound.
