I agree the DRRI would be suitable but you should also know that you can say Marshall here. You can also say Boogie and Rivera and Soldano. There are no "Fender Only" police here.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Hi 789 you can mention other brands here without fear of being run out of town.I have 4 Marshalls and only 1 is a good blues amp and that's my '71 Artiste. You could invest in a Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal and that would help you get a bluesy tone from your existing amp without having to lay out cash for a new amp.If you do decide to get the pedal opt for the British made 1st issue as that was the best of the lot but having said that the Chinese made ones are great but not quite as great.I have a Fender Blues Jr. and that's a great blues amp but at only 15W probably isn't loud enough for your needs but most of Fender's amps in the 40-50W range are well suited for blues especially the master volume equipped ones.

Thank you again everyone.. Looked at the Reissue recommended by some £900 in UK. Bit pricey for my Spare room only use, would consider if I can get some Guitar chums to play with..
Seriously like the sound of the pedal option will have a look on the net after this.

Best regards to all. PS: In answer to a comment someone made earlier. Not all Brits are asinine enough to still look upon our American friends as colonial cousins.

Regards
