Hey everyone!!! Another early morning here in Blaine, temeratures are warming (its about time).....I have a hot cup of coffee next to me, listening to Brian Lee - a bluesman out of New Orleans, and writing this Saturday morning thread to my Fender Friends....I hope today finds you all well and ready to fire up those guitars.

Sounds like we will be seeing / listening to TGS tonight on the Bobby Mack webcast. That will be fun! I am certainly looking foward to it. I have a cabinet being shipped to me and I hoping it will arrive today. In it I will be placing the Eminence stock speaker that I took out of my Blues Jr (replaced a while back with an Eminence Texas Heat) and then I will have a new speaker cab. Next up, a new head????? I am going to look at a Rebel 20, it seems as though there are lots of raves about them here. I am sure that I will test many more. I am in no huge hurry to buy..

I hope you all have a great day and keep a bucket of water nearby to cool down those fretboards..... 8)

Beaubs

Good morning to all. Actually it's afternoon here in land of fire and ice. We had one annual February storm this week and it seem there is another one brewing up.
Just finishing a cup of coffee and waiting for the work bus.

Morning All,

Looking out the window here in Halifax see's the snow falling again and likely cold as it's been for the last couple weeks. Dispatched the Mrs for some coffee and staying indoors where it's warm with the boy.

On the guitar agenda today...I have been craving some crazy 80's rock lately and the local music store is blowing out some inventory and selling an Ibanez rg350ex for $300...it has all the qualities of a great 80's guitar...locking trem, hot bridge HB, super strat...even comes in yellow :!: , although I might opt for black instead 8) . So I am going to go check one out.

All the best in your sonic journeys and all other aspects of your weekend!

Good afternoon Beaubs and everyone, from a cloudy but warmish Manchester, the sun actually keeps breaking through occasionally.
Drinking coffee and watching Manchester United on the box, everythings okay.
Take care and have a good one y'all.

Good morning Beaubs and every one. Sunny and 24 here in the hinterlands of Chicago. Muffled sounds of radio and a fan going around in my brain. Looking at my guitars and wondering what to do with Love. Loosened the strings on her to give the neck a rest, been playing Blackie the last few. Beaubs, you reminded me I have to drop my Legends into the Peavey cab, a new head will be inspiring, play a couple for me Bro. Rock and roll Saturday, so have a great one!

P.S. Beaubs, I'd like to hear Texas on the the web program as well, how?

cheers,
yer mama (just kidding, it's SBLS 8) )

Good morning everyone! It's starting to look like a nice day in SW Oklahoma. I was up laaaate last night hammering out some Waylon and Johny Cash on my Telecasters!

I've got a date this evening in Ft Worth with a little rancher girlfriend of mine. BBQ for dinner, then we'll be at Billy Bobs to see Robert Earl Keen. Gonna be a fun evening...

I hope everybody has a good a weekend as I will!

Mornin' all, just got back from breakfast with my son. We went down in my man cave after we got back, and got out my Epi Sheraton for my son to play through my new amp (more on that in another thread). He wants to buy my Sheraton but does'nt have the cash (baby on the way), so I told him to take it along and pay me when he can. I like that guitar but dont play it enough, I'm sure he will keep it exercised :) . Have a good day all and play till yer fingers bleed 8)

Good morning Beaubs and all other forumites. We're here anxiously awaiting 2 winter storms to descend on us.The 1st is coming from Western Canada and expected to dump about 6-10" of snow on us and that's to be followed by one that's winding its way up the New England coast and that's bringing as much as 15" of the white scourge.

Afternoon all,
Got a late start today, but that's what week-ends are for. Hey Guitslinger, sounds like you are catching the same snow cycle we had in Metro NY, no fun. Gonna put the Firdbird in the play first slot, it's beem awhile and those P-90s need some screaming time.

Keep them boards smoking,
John.E

Good evening to all my Fender Friends!! Well after a week of rolling around in the gold up at FT Knox I have been out working on the yard so Mrs ABS and our Lab Holly have a beautiful grassy yard to enjoy! Now we are relaxing on the couch watching a movie and dinner is cooking. I did get a few minutes on my Strat after my shower and will probably be blazing on my Tele later on. I hope everyone has a fanbtastic weekend and will talk with you all soon!
ABS :D
