i was just given a butt-ugly peavey deuce VT 2x12 amp.
it looks like its been through hell and back about 10 times lol.
i like these old amps. so its going to go through a restoring phase
over the next yr. i got to start by figuring out when this amp was made.
anybody know where i can go on the web to date this beast?
i cant find nothing.

TTSC

i dont need a review, i already like these amps.
think lynard skynard. these amps were also very popular in country&western
music (as it was once called) clean with a tele ran through it.
these amps are loud. about 120watts. when the tubes are cranked and
the pre volume is dimed, it sings with a pure skynard tone, there is no
mistaking it. these werent the best peaveys ok but it was free and i took it lol.
it has a darker sound to it. im sure it will end up stuffed way back in the
amp room and lost for another decade lol.

i didnt see anything on peavey's site about dating an amp. i could have over looked it though by accident.
