Here's my E.C. I live in Hawaii, Maui to be specific.......

One of our Forum members is in a band nameds "Haleamano". They happen to be gigging on Maui as I write this. You can do a search on him. I think his screen ID is 'shredd66.'
They are due to leave on the 14th. Perhaps you have time to find out where they are working.
I was out there two seasons in a row about 7-8 years ago. Got reacquainted with a guy whom I was friend with in grade school who retired to Maui. Did some business at Gerard Marti's Celebrites. The store in the Wailea shops. I'd been to the one in Lahaina as well.

We're all over the planet on this Forum. Part of what makes it so interesting.

I think EC is much more talented as a composer than a musician, and I love his work.

Also a major fan of Diana Krall ever since I saw her many years ago playing for tips in a small piano bar in the Village called the Living Room... I told my date that night: "Keep on eye on her...she's gonna make it ".

Especially loved her tribute to Neil Armstrong at her concert the night he passed away... her first song, she said: "This one's for you Neil" and then: " Fly me to the Moon..." Class Act she !!

cheers!

I'm 45. My nicknames at school were, Hank, Buddy and Elvis, because of my appearance... Up until recently, I never had a fiesta red or sunburst Strat or a Jazzmaster.
I do now, though.
He's the second best scouse songwriter ever.
Magic moment for me was his performance of 'All You Need Is Love' at Live Aid.

Costello's stuff never appealed to me. I'm 70. I had a sunbusrt '58 Strat. They called me Elvis but my black horned rim glasses gave me more of Holly look. My nickname was "It's too loud!!"
