Anyone know if Fender is offering the identical guitar without the road wear? I really like the specs. on that one and the pickup arrangement but prefer to put my own dents and scratches on it. I have a 94 or 95 MIM tele that looks identical to that one that I bought new and had a small chip in the finish on the back of the body. That's still the only damage on it. I imagine there are several of us that like to do our own road wear. Anyway just wondering. I recently got a Blacktop tele that I purchased because it was as close to my old one as I've found but I still prefer the neck HB and single on the bridge.

Natural road worn will take a very long time and lotsa hard playing to happen on a poly finish though.
