I was just on the Beatle Facebook Forum and a guy there had a double neck Strat that he paid $200 for,I hadn't seen one since the 60s and didn't know if they still made them. The picture was small and wasn't clear but it looked like a Fender logo.I hinted to him that the Fender Forum guys would be more than a bit interested in seeing it.So-does Fender still make double necks? He said that it's somewhat of a Custom Shop whatever that means unless it was a one off for the original owner.

Hey GS, you know that forum member Orvilleowner has a nice one. If I'm not mistaken he built it himself. Maybe he will post another picture of it.

If I could figure out how to work the search function I'd look it up for you. He rarely post pics. of his equipment but If I remember correctly he's posted a pic of it a couple times a long while back. Never could work the search well but the old one was easier for me. :?

Yes, I did put a doubleneck together 4 years ago.

I used a body from Warmoth (3-piece alder in Sonic Blue) and a couple of MIM Standard maple necks.

I lost my photo-upload site, but I recently reestablished an account. I will upload a pic soon.

I'd love to see O.O.s double neck.I remember back in the early 60s there was a young Glen Campbell on a T.V. program playing a double neck Strat.

I love that doubleneck. It looks good. But I can barley play my single neck strat.

It weighs 12 and a half pounds (not that bad).

She's a pretty guitar for sure and only 1 1/2 lbs. heavier than my '78 ash body Strat was. The one this guy had was a 6-12 he didn't say how heavy it was though.
