I don't know about everybody, but a lot of guys have a sunburst or two, a black, a white, a red, a blue ...

you get the idea.

 i have a cherryburst (which i suppose you could somewhat compare to a sunburst) and a turquoise blue strat... both look amazing to me, but yeah, there are a lot of people with bursts, but most likely because they look great to a lot of people

although the burst on the les paul isn't extremely noticeable, it is i suppose

No Sunburst here. A black P-Bass and Honey Blonde Strat.

When I was a kid and first started playing, 'burst was for the foggies. That being said...come tax time, I'm likely to be getting a back up for my 51RI P so i can keep one strung with rounds, the other with flats at all times. The irony now that my two basses will be two tone burst and butterscotch blonde is not lost on me. I guess the Oly white days of my youth are far behind me.

Strangely, I really don't miss them.

I love bursts, but only on a few guitars.

Here's my homemade two-tone, the burst is stain, so it's actually a natural body with the exception of black paint. Sweat is staining the wood big time where my hand rest.

^ that looks great though... almost like the faded color on the SRV sig, but, nonetheless an amazing looking guitar in my mind

I've never been a fan of solid color guitars. Give me a vintage 2 tone burst anyday.

Personally I had Sunburst my first guitar was. But now I hate them. I love Fireburst though and Tobbacoburst. The only reason I don'tlike Sunburst is because I see it too much, I used to like it but things have changed haha.

I'm ashamed to admit, I don't have a Sunburst Fender   I'd love a Cherry or Sienna Sun Burst Tele or Strat. Like a Sienna Burst Deluxe Players Strat with a maple neck (as I have a Saphire Blue one with a rosewood fingerboard) But I'm not a big fan of the traditional three color and Brown Burst. The dark outer stain hides the Strat or Tele lines.).

Sienna Burst is nice though
