My guess since the game is in Indy is John Mellencamp.

Brad Paisley, some one who really plays music. And plays some great Telecasters too. Get those Fenders on the world stage.

NOW THIS, I can AGREE with. Paisley would put on a great halftime show and he has the star power to be relevant enough. Although I am sure a part of the NFL demographic would complain because he isn't hop hop or rap enough and would say he doesn't represent the NFL.

Even with all of our cool ideas, I'm willing to bet it'll be some even douchier show.

no doubt about that. Bruno Marz and Justin beaver or Lady gaga and Katy Perry duet with John mayer coming up out of the stage playing another one of his Jimi ripoffs.

twas just sarcasm. if Mayer did the halftime show I'd never watch the NFL again.

How 'bout Metallica? The've got so many sports anthems already it seems they deserve a show.

Skip the rerun of oud timers seen better days and modern Bieberites!!!! Roll a ring out there and get the top two ranked heavy weight ultimate fighters out there for five four minute rounds. That would be a half time in keeping with Football  If it goes down early have a second match ready for another fight. Vegas would have a ball with more options for betting.

Good choice! But sadly, 99.9% of his guitars aren't Fenders at all. They're built by Crook's Custom Guitars.

Its needs to be as American as football... like some good 'ole rock n' roll... Like when they had Tom Petty, Aerosmith, etc.

Not a big fan, but the answer seems pretty obvious ...

That's ok, will just go with the Fender 1%. He would still be one of the better real live stage presence performers that wouldn't embarrass the U.S. image on the World Stage.

I do agree with that for sure. If you want to see an awesome Brad Paisley performance, look up Brad Paisley Live on Letterman, on YouTube. They have the entire concert up and it's a great one. I wish I could play the guitar like that.
