Ok, we all hated the Black Eyed Peas.

Who do you think should be tapped for next year?

My vote? Make Clapton play some old stuff with ZZ Top and the Black Keys supporting.

either ZZ Top or John Fogerty, we need some good ol' rock n roll. Not techno keyboard crap like the Black Eyed Losers.

That made me smile... because it's true. Even Slash couldn't pull that show up from the dregs.

My vote is for pearl jam.

With a guest appearance by Neil Young and/or Ben Harper :)

How about someone who can sing and has more than a moderate amount of talent? :D

Some good suggestions so far.

How about a bunch of Fender lounge forumites with some nice strats and teles get up there and play some good old rock-n-roll and maybe some blues.I'll bring the harmonicas and we could have some nice vintage gear for the crowd to drool at  I guarantee it would be better than the Blacked-Eyed wanna Peas. What the heck was up with that one dudes plastic hair thing  com'on...lets get with the program here people.NO TECHNO CRAP  and no lame flashing lights on the clothing.Blue jeans and Fender lounge shirts only...maybe some custom shop gear.If not...I vote for ZZ-TOP :D

I'd vote for either of them, another would be Lynard Skynard

Excellent idea to have forum members playing up there.

And if not than a big old college marching band, wasn't that the tradition. You'll never make everyone happy with the pick so just stick with tradition.

I second that!
