Nice fiddle Mike. I've been planning on changing the pickguard on this guitar since I bought it. Just haven't gotten around to it. I have had lots of black guitars and I kind of want to change it up a bit.

Little over the top for my taste but it would look nice under spotlights...hmm.

yes thats the ticket right there. do a search on teles with that color mix, you cant take your eyes off it i promise you.

Lots of stuff going on right now. Hadn't thought about it. I'll probably get one ordered here in the next couple days.

btw...I see what you mean about that black/red combo being an eyecatcher...this one gives me gas for a Deluxe.

Here's the Tele as it sits. I like the black on black look, but I want to spice it up a bit.

A black Tele is quite a classic look, but to me, when your on stage you want to be seen and noticed.

Nothing will make your guitar pop out of the crowed like this guys pick guards, they ain't cheap, but he makes them with real 22K gold glitter in them.

Here is his e-bay store, now since he makes them, he can surely cut it to fit your three pick up model.

I know 70.00 buck is allot of cash, but it will look so much better then that Warmouth one.
There is nothing like the feeling that you should bought the one you really wanted to the first time instead of throwing out the one you did buy to replace it with the one you really wanted later on.

The red will really "pop" onstage.

Jeffytune...Hmmm, those are very nice! I like the silver with gold flake. And for what they are, I'm surprised they're only 70 bucks. Definitely something to keep in mind.

Not so much man...you pretty much just listed the exact reasons I'm stuck between all the different choices. Good thing this isn't a life and death situation, someone would be bleeding to death while I tried to make a decision.

For "flash" Red Pearl
For "understatement" Brown Shell
Both Warmoth.
They're $25 so if it doesn't work out your not out a lot of bucks.
