i had a small back seam crack in my acoustic when i bought it, was minimal, and i shrugged it off to being the guitar is hand made, and aroung 30 yrs old...and twas a character flaw...no biggy right? Wrong...even with a room humidifier..smaller one..but still took the precaution to have it, that crack shown here...in one night..travel the lenght of my guitar. the guitar dried out and the neck had back bent, and i thought it was f...dged...Image

well, i about cried....looked online and came up with either i could pay someone good money to route out the piece, and fit in a new one...easy....or put some CA, or super glue in the crack, after re-humidifying the guitar...which i did with a big garbage bag, a stand and that humidifier...and im happy with the cheap fix, lol

Indeed it is the finer of many blends, but in this economy I have to settle for the Jim across the border in Kentucky.

She's a real beauty, glad that the repair worked out as well as it did,it would be tragic for a lovely guitar like that to be ruined.

thanx Guit, you know it... ive played a few flatops in my 45yrs on this earth... not only for sentimental reason..soley based on sound, i would not trade it for any other acoustic ive seen , heard or played.
Its what WoW would sound like if you could play it on guitar, and the action feels like butter, lol
