I got a Fender Mustang II for Christmas and have never really used the Ableton software. But I need it. My band has a gig coming up in a few weeks and I am the singer and guitarist and I need to be able to record a guitar track and loop it. I will hopefully have an engineer on hand to do the ableton stuff but i still need to know how to record and loop it.
If anyone could explain it step by step from scratch to me that would be great. I know I posted this in 2 boards but I don't know which it should go in. I don't mean to spam. I just desperately need to learn how to do this.

the only people that know how to use ableton are the developers. I also got a mustang for Christmas and after 2 weeks downloaded audacity and have not opened ableton since then. audacity is easier to use and does everything ableton does however if anyone knows how to use it I would also want to know.

Live is a great resource for for looping.
Audacity is not for what you want to do.
Learn Live.....
I am just getting into live for looping and
inserting backing tracks.
And loving it..
Not an expert yet...but it is better for
what you want to do.
