i'm so jealous of those things. Now i might get my Strat done in Tweed or Tolex maybe and save polishing my guitar or strip the paint and keep it natural

Thanks,
I use allot of pinup girls on the tweed guitars I will post a pic later, the sound on a solid body is not all that different we have trouble deciding if it is the difference from one guitar to the next or if it is the tweed. As for comfort they are fine and the wear spots get soft like finely aged Levis.

The look is really cool. I'm wandering if the sound quality was affected any at all.

This is a homemade body Tweeded with a Warmouth 24.75" scale solid rosewood neck and a few other tweeks. Two volume controls then I set the switch up like an old Esquire tone switch with a Seth Lover in the Bridge and a Five two in the neck, Gretsch Bridge and a Bigsby B5. This one is a bunch-O-fun.

I never found myself getting real worked up over finishes...I mean, sure I like a cherry or tobacco sunburst as much as the next guy but, I swear...If I had the dough and a guitar I could stand living without for a bit, I would have no problem sending one your way. The tweeds are awesome looking! All the cool kid guitar players would be green with envy if they saw me with a tweed covered tele!

I love that you've done something different and they look great. I don't personally dig how they look next to the matching amps though, it's almost like the guitar has been swallowed up by the amps style. What would be a lot cooler and artistically more interesting is if you gave the guitars the tolex covering etc and gave the amps a nice glossy burst finish and with a bit of scratch plate material and chrome. That would be a pretty cool statement in itself, a style reversal letting the amp have the attention for a while :)

Thanks for sharing, very inspiring.
