Those are two of the coolest guitars I have ever seen, creative, excellent quality...now you just need to complete the set with a Blonde and Brown :!: :!: :!:

Me too...especially considering my 5'1" brunette wife would kick my butt. Actually, she's Mexican, so she'd probably whip out a knife and cut me...

Does the covering affect the tone or sustain?

Also, how much do you charge for them?

How far is Austin from Ft. Worth?
I will have a slew of new ones at the Austin guitar show.

You should cross-post this to the custom shop related forums. I think the folks at Fender need to see this, and license the idea from you! 8)

Austin isn't far (by Texas standards), but unfortunately I'll be in Florida that week.

I'd like to see a brownface Tele with wheat grille/pickguard and a P90 in the neck pickup position...that would look gorgeous beside my '63 Re-issue Vibroverb...

The tolex Strat looks tough. You could beat the hell out of someone with that and immediately play it again. Well done.

does the tweed rub your arm raw? I would think it would be really rough. it does look sexy though. you should do a strat covered in vintage playboy clippings :D

That is a brilliant idea! or even vintage war-era girly pinups. You know, the type they used to paint on the nose of B25 bombers :)

WOWZA....excellent work edo. These are the most creative finishes I've seen on Fenders in years (better patent the idea's). You are truly an artistic mastermind my friend and I hope you do well enough at the guitar show so to allow you to continue your art. Now the BIG questions...how do they sound? and how much do they cost? Here's wishing you the best in your endeavours..I'm truly impressed :D :D
