VERY COOL!!!! The only thing I would add is a red jewel to the 65 Twin Strat.

I thought about it but it needs a power source and well... I am still thinking about it.
Thanks for the feedback

Tres hip and clever. Excellent craftsmanship. Good on you.

How do they feel to hold, and does the wrap do much to damp the sound?

Let me start by saying that both of those are AWESOME! I especially like the blackface look. Never (personally) was a huge fan of the tweed look, but that even appeals to me on a guitar like that.

It's be pretty simple to install a 9v battery box as on a guitar with active electronics, and then you'd be able to wire it in no problem.
Either way awesome idea you had, and great work on the actual finished products.

Blackface and Tweed amp cosmetics deserve both a Strat and a Tele, IMO. Also, I think how cool would look a Tweed maple-neck Precision and a Blackface ebony-neck Jazz Bass.

Great job, Edo! What was the process you used? Walk us through it, please.

I'm actually serious. of all things that have shaped/changed in my life, playing guitar & music has been a lighthouse on a stormy night for me. Aswell as taxes and getting old, it's always a sure thing.
So as lovely as women are, guitar strings are only $15 bucks every so often & a once over with nice clean cloth is the only pampering they will ever need.

Amen.
