It may sound silly but I find Ernie Ball's stay in tune longer and that is why I use them.

Recently I've tried 8-38 strings from GHS,Fender,Ernie Ball and D'Addario and the D'Addarios are a lot more flexible and easier to bend and keep their new tone and hold their tunning far better than any of the others.

I like Erie balls....but the 13 on my SG tuned to b are dean markleys they are rather stiff which is good for such low tuning on a short scale

I Use D'Addario On My Bass Which I Prefer Over Rotosounds. I Am Still Using The Original Fender Super 250'S On My VHR 57 And I Like Them Although People Say Use D'Addario Also.

I chose D'Addario, but also use some of the others depending on the guitar.

Good Posts. The Guys At The Guitar Shop Where I Go Say They Use D'Addario 10'S But They Never Really Say Why. For My Guitar What Is The Real Difference ?. I Mainly Play Brit Type Rock And Jazz.
