I always liked their stuff. BUt then, I like most of Jack's bands.

People blast Jack White, but I think he's a true renaissance man--guitar, bass, drums, vocals, acting.

He was even smart enough to dump Renee Zellwegger.

RIP, White Stripes...

no matter how it is worded, if the White Stripes are the only hope or A hope for real rock, then real rock is dead. Not to mention most WS fans I know seem to frame them as some kind of new experimental blues and swear JW is a blues guitarist. Same goes with Cage the Elephant. I understand some are fans of them, but they arent enough to save rock either. They will be unheard of in 5 years from now if not sooner. Rock is already dead if it depends on either of these acts to keep it alive. My honest and respectful opinion.

The Stripes have been done for awhile, Meg has been having issues. Jack has been trying to get back together for years to no avail. It's okay, The Dead Weather and Raconteurs are still #$@*&!% great.
