fair enough, so the next time MSNBC or CNN makes an error like this, we should all expect a post on it i assume? and we ALL know that those networks make their fair share of errors as well.

September 11, 2009
Forced to retract the reports that shots were fired on the Potomac, the CNN news center is being brought to task for the error, which caused tension on the anniversary of 9-11. The US Coast Guard were performing a routine exercize at the time the shots were fired. That it was viewed as a "Breaking Homeland Security" news report was anxiety producing, considering the date today is September 11, and there is a persistant fear of "anniversary attacks" .

And can we all say DAN RATHER  CBS Evening News

If it is funny like this one, then yes. If you see some please point it out for me. :D

Yes please! :D

Nonni and I couldn't care less about the political stance of North American broadcasters. We just want to laugh at silly, dumb pictures.

Bring 'em on!

O.K., if Pluto is a dog and Goofy is a dog? Why does Goofy wear clothes and Pluto doesn't?

Oxfan I thought that everyone knew that Pluto is a confirmed nudist, and anyway Goofy gets more money from product royalties so he can afford clothes.

That does'nt supprise me. Perhaps they want the USA to go to war all over again in the same place by calling it a different name.

FOX news, a bunch of scumbags that profit off the freedom of others who sacrificed their lives for freedom.

Wow, that just takes the cake. I allways thought geography was a paper that was needed whilst in the profession of international current affairs reporting. Clearly not

This really takes the prize  Nice spotting right there!

That was more along my line of thinking about the 'mistake'. Put Egypt right in the middle of the current hotspot, to help fuel hysteria/interest. Thereby keeping the viewing figures up.

In other words lie to those that know no better, forget their concerns. Treat you like a idiot, tell you a story whilst all the time keeping you in the dark.

Despite previous misgivings I'm quite hopefull for Egypt. It's a nation with a reputation of forming alliances to secure strength in that region. Pretty much since the times of the Pharoahs, when they just took whatever they wanted. I think the west needs to stand up and deliver some help during this time to ensure we're viewed as a favourable ally.
