Great map!! The expansion of the town is not unlike the goings on in the Naples area. My guess, based upon my knowledge of that area, is that the chances are likely greater for Vesuvius than in your area, not withstanding prior current events.

Solid,You are so lucky. I miss the snow and cold. The Army can't get me out of the south soon enough!! It will be nice when they finally send me back to the land of the ice and snow..:) Hang in there my brother!\ABS :D

Boca Raton in the high 30's-low 40's at holiday season last December was not my idea of getting away for the R'nR I was hoping for. :? Nothing like the snow and cold at leisure. :) Six hours stranded in a heatless commuter train is another story. :( Stay safe, both of you.
Doc

Just read today that there was half meter (about 20") snow layer over everything in Chicago. That is more than over here, we finally got our Christmas snow :D

The Chicagoland area is still snowbound, finally got a Bro with a 'bobcat' to clear the driveway were I'm staying, 250 bones, if you have a blade in Chi you're making serious green right now.

"Phock," Solid. Our regular friendly 'hood landscaper came with his Chevy Duallie 2500 and did ours and two neighbor's, two 2-car and one 3-, for a total of one and a quarter. Bobcat rider knows how to bargain better! Or had a bigger lot to do.

What is amazing in the Chicago burbs, is how fast things got back to quasi-normal. Everybody was at work today and the streets are drivable, if not clean.

But it was -11 F on the way to work, this morn, without the wind chill.

 JSJH, were I'm staying right now is a 'driveway' worth every penny of the 250, that -11 is for real though
