I see other members with avatars under their names, but when I try to set mine in the UCP I get the message "Your avatar cannot be displayed because avatars have been disallowed."

Do I need a certain number of posts before I'm allowed to set my avatar? Or are they no longer allowed?

It's kinda a pain to get to it.

1) Click on user control panel.
2) Go to edit profile.
3) Log in.
4) Click on edit avatar.
5) On the top tool bar you will see a gear with a pull down arrow, click on it.
6) click on edit profile.
This will take you to the page were you can upload your avatar.

I did all that and only got a "Your Photo/Upload image" option which does nothing everytime I try to upload one

yah mine is the same way, won't work either way I do it.

I originally took mine off because I was getting creepy private messages from some person, and I didn't want them to see what I looked like personally. :? it freaked me out a little but now that its not happening anymore I kind of want my avatar back.

I just tried it again and had no issues.

Did you properly size the avatar first?
If it's too large it will kick it out.

Yes, just now I tried with one 80x61 and have tried various sizes before all under the 150 pixel limit. It's no go.

I Had One Before We Had To Create New Profiles. Now It Doesn't Work. It Just Says The Feature Has Been Disabled.
