Blender volume control for the neck pickup.
Perfect mod; Not physicaly invasive, costs about the price of 2" of wire, can be done in under 10 minutes, gives 2 extra sounds and doesn't rob the guitar of the sounds it already has on modern Fender wiring.

where can we look at these niki?

Here's Nick's post from Andy's superswitch thread way cool, had a look under my hood after seeing this but the wiring on mine is the no load tone pot wiring, anyhoo for the standerd wired strat this is Nick's post
The easiest way to acheive that as well as all other regular strat positions.

Better picture

By far a better solution to my mind. I've had a guitar with that wiring for two and a half years now. That's a lifetime for me.

Just use the tone pot you've already got in place. If you like it get a C taper 250k pot as your blender control.

OOps no pics I'll get the link

Wow...after those links, I have to admit I am lost. After replacing the bridge pickup on my Highway 1 I think I was lucky it worked. Next time I switch pickups, I will be taking to the shop.

As soon as my Weller Soldering Station shows up in the mail I will be changing the MIM ceramic SSS's to GFS Professional Over wounds, putting in a Brass Trem block, and changing out the MIM pots.

Looking forward to the results.

2. Added Schaller strap locks

3. Replaced stock pickguard with Warmoth satin black pickguard

4. Replaced jack cup with a Rutterscup (similar to Electrosocket)

5. Replaced stock knobs with Callaham nickle dome knobs.

6. Rutters compensated brass saddles

I will probably swap the pickups next, most likely with Nocasters...

I know what some are going to say, I have more into it than it is worth.
Maybe so but I would do it all again, this guitar is a joy to play...

Is there a pic of this guitar? please post

Here is the thread I did over at TDPRI in the midst of the mods, there are images there...

http://www.tdpri.com/forum/tele-technic ... o-3-a.html

The mods are mostly under the hood so to say so they aren't all that obvious...

Custom wiring: Moved middle (RW) to bridge position.
position 1 = mid + bridge in series noise cancelling
middle 2 = neck + bridge in parallel noise cancelling
position 3 = neck
