On my Telecaster (1995 MIM Tele Special):
I put a P90 pickup in the neck position.
Changed it to 4-way Tele switching (best Tele mod in the world ever).
Put on a "No-Load" tone potentiometer.
Replaced neck plate with one etched with my band's logo.
Schaller strap lock buttons.

On my Stratocaster (US '62 Reissue Stratocaster):
I changed the pickguard from 3-ply white to 3-ply aged white mother-of-pearl (and changed the knobs and pickup covers to aged white as well).
Blocked the tremolo with a small stack of quarters (increased sustain & tuning stability).
Attached a badge that says "CUSTOM" on the "ashtray" bridge plate.
Replaced the stock pickups with Pete Biltoft Vintage Vibe SP90 pickup set (sounds like a P90 in the size of a Strat pickup).
Replaced the center tone knob with a push/pull potentiometer that turns on the bridge pickup no matter where the 5-way selector switch is set (gives me 7 switching options, including neck+bridge and neck+middle+bridge, not normally capable on a Strat)
Had a friend make me a vinyl label of my signature, and placed it on the back of the headstock.
Replaced neck plate with one etched with my band's logo.
Schaller strap lock buttons.

any Tele I have will be hooked up with Kinman Broadcasters. I couldnt imagine a Tele without them unless is was a 50's model with the original pups.

any humbucker guitar I have will be hooked up with Vintage Guild HB-1's.

Notoriously dull, here.

AVRI pups on an MIJ Jazzmaster (which worked great)

Minor cosmetics (chrome pup covers, good knobs, truss rod cover) on an SG Faded.

MIA Jazz Bass knobs on an MIM Fretless Jazz Bass.

MIA Precision Bass knobs on an MIM Precision.

Biggest mod I've done to my guitar...

...New strings. That's its :-)
I like it as is, and I want to keep it the same as the day I bought it.

Pretty boring here also...

My Tele I swapped the tone Cap for a Russian Paper in Oil.

My Strat I had the bridge pickup wired to the tone control and the middle pickup runs wide open with no tone control. That's it.

Oh, and I fitted Schaller straplocks.

None... If I actually knew how I might have some, but I'm clueless so I might as well not ruin my guitar.

Most here seem to be "Born to be mild" on the mods it would seem.

Well my latest victim.....I mean project is a 2010 mim that was a H-S-S.

Well so fay I have replaced the neck plate with a custom made one, replaced the picks with Fender custom shop units (It is now a S-S-S), replaced the tremolo with a GFS brass blocked one using five springs with it set to be grounded to the body.
The capacitor has been replaced with a Russian made paper and oil and the pick guard in the Fender made gold anodized aluminum guard.
I added strap locks as well and I am now used the Optima Gold plated strings.

In other words, about par for the course for me.

4. Replaced jack cup with a Rutterscup (similar to Electrosocket)
http://ruttersguitars.com/Hot_Rod_Parts.html

I will probably swap the pickups next, most likely with Nocasters...

I know what some are going to say, I have more into it than it is worth.
Maybe so but I would do it all again, this guitar is a joy to play...

Blender volume control for the neck pickup.
Perfect mod; Not physicaly invasive, costs about the price of 2" of wire, can be done in under 10 minutes, gives 2 extra sounds and doesn't rob the guitar of the sounds it already has on modern Fender wiring.

I mod my guitars by using different amps as well as the traditional mods.
