It's refreshing to find such a great variety of content in each month's
issue. If there is a better magazine for guitarists out there, I haven't
seen, read or heard about it yet.

i read it each month. they are one of the few magazines left that haven't turned into a heavy metal shredder publication.

First off hope all is good with you Mike and its nice to be back.

I love Premeir and have had a subscription since the first issue I picked up.It is the first guitar magazine where I ever heard the writers refer to themselves as journalist lol. Also John Brown is a very cool guy, he writes the repair column. I have emailed him on two separate occasions concerning an issue and he replied really fast both times.

What's even more amazing is that it is essentially 'free' online. I actually queried them about it and they offered to refund my subscription payments. I wasn't about to take them up on it. I feel the magazine is well worth having in hand every month and being able to refer back to it online is a plus. I would also encourage those who do not subscribe to Vintage Guitar Magazine, to do so.

I emailed PG one month complaining that I couldn't find some of the material listed in their mag on the website. (In the mag they said there was a SRV photogallery on the website but I couldn't find it anywhere). The next month they had printed my letter and said that from now on their online edition would have everything linked and sure enough they kept true to their word.

For the price, which comes out to less than 50 cents a week, the photos alone are worth the price of admission. Great article on the 20 coolest U.S. guitar stores :
