Hey there guys. I haven't been about much either compared to how I used to but I was always a 'learner' rather than someone who passed on their wisdom.

I guess I should get back on but as I was sayin to SBLS on facebook, I've been really busy doing a course, playing with both bands, trying to get a house and many other things. I guess that is the 'life game'.

I hope everyone is well but I'm friends with about 30 fender.com forumites on facebook so I'm in contact with a lot of you guys anyway.

Cheers!

CC

Life is like trying to tread water in a cesspool while some damn fool in a speed boat runs circles around you making waves.

Well this thread is sad, but interesting, since it brings together a bunch of long time forumites so us younger cubs can quietly marvel at the established comraderie here. And after all, there is not only subtraction, there's also addition. :)

Great to be here, guys. And I agree with Al 87. Some topics just make me zip it.

Cheers

Sometimes life throws objects at you and it's not always easy to keep
up a 'happy face' and go on as if nothing's happened or even bring up
certain personal things on an international forum.

errrrrr exactly not quite sure what the real game of life is but......... when the forum was upgraded, in one fell swoop i couildnt access it at work. I used to read posts then praps reply then if i had time, ( ) or wait till i got home.
Its been a bit of a sh$%^ new year, my mums cancer has returned and she aint no spring chicken and beating it first time in 2009 almost finished her off (no pun intended) and along with other probs right now it just makes being on here less than easy at present.

Goodwill to all . . . Al

Hey Al - - mojo and best wishes to your 'mum'. I was stage III in '08 and now into my 3rd year of remission.
That, my friend, *is* the real game of life!

Thanks Ceri, my sympathies for your mums long illness. Its my mum im feeling bad for shes had some tough luck these past few years and hopefully getting past the big C was a bit of good fortune. Like you say all we can do is battle on.
