i figured that since from time to time we go over some seriously crazy Ebay auctions.
so here is a on going post where we can post them. so to start, i found one that just blows my mind for the price. this one is craaazy.

tim its crazy isnt it? i cant believe it. if you go out and look theres a guy selling copies for like $25 or so. only difference is a sereal number. my luck its a serial number from a stolen guitar too lol.

Seriously. On top of that, the only reason I'd care about a serial number is if it actually matched the guitar. I'd be MUCH more willing to spend 25 bones on a replica than 125 on an old worn neckplate, that to me looks a little bent on the top left corner. I'm curious to see if anyone buys it.

oh that thing aint going anywhere bro. not at that price anyways.
you can buy one of the ones i mentioned, or a sweet custom one off ebay for $30 tops.
this guy has to be one of the ron brothers. i dont think hes larry or curley, so hes gotta be........ yep you guessed it, MO.

Yep...just peeked at it. I say get a plain plate and then you can have it custom engraved with your initials or something, and have a complete one off guitar.

For sure...for a hundred bucks, I'd jump on that deal. Paint chips are no prob, as you said it has no dings, just chips. Good start for a relic build maybe? Not sure how you feel about relics.

im up in the air on relics honestly. i dont like the carbon copy's so much like the roadworn series, but they sure do play nice.
ive seen some amazing homemade relics that you would swear they were pulling your leg when you were told they were fake.
