I've had some fun with the Guitar Builder. Does anyone know if they can order their "dream" strat that they design by using that application, or is it just for fun?

And, being a bassist, does anyone know if/when they will make a Bass Builder?

Its mostly just for fun, but if you had the money you could order it from the custom shop.
I'm pretty sure they're going to add a bass feature soon, as well as other guitar shapes.
Its still early days though.

I hope so, I wasn't even able to save my preferences. So there must still be some bugs. I sent Fender an email last week, but no response so far.
