ok guys and ladies, what gear are you planning to get by yrs end?

for me, im looking at getting a marshall amp. my amp selection is slacking
only because ive been so set in my ways for all these yrs.
im thinking about a Haze40. anybody have one on here? pros/cons?
what about a DSL 2000 combo?

i would also like a couple mim strats in the users collection for modding.
im also looking into a wampler paisley drive if i can just pull the cash out of my pocket
to get one. i love their tone but man they cost some serious coin.

ive also gotta get me a les paul custom.

I'm kinda diggin' the 60th Ann. Tele at the moment, and not because it's an anniversary edition, it just looks so sweet! I am a fickle guy though, I could be tempted elsewhere easily.

My 2011 GAS was just tamed a bit the other day with the 61 reissue strat (it's a 62 hot rod FSR) Still evaluating, and I'll post pics. Another thing I am cooking up for my bday is to get a good EQ pedal.

To answer your questions, I have not experienced a Haze series, however I did plat through various configurations on the 2000 series and they are awesome live. The only thing that I heard bothers some of the guitarists that 2000 series marshals when cranked make all guitars sound almost the same. You can go from tele to LP and nobody could tell the difference other than you. It did not bother me :P :P :P

Haha, I actually just sold one and didn't roll the proceeds over into a new one. First time that's happened in forever. Unfortunately, lots of med bills to pay this year.

:(

I have to sell something before I can buy again, then again today I stumbled upon this:

And I got to thinking...

I'm hoping to get the item that has been on my list for over twenty years:

A metal-bodied resonator with a pickup for live performances (I don't play coffee houses, so I need volume, VOLUME DANGIT!!).

Almost everything I have ever played had some glaring problem--they either
(1) don't really sound like a metal-bodied resonator
(2) cost more than my first two cars combined
(3) both of those complaints.

However, I have been playing several of the Dean Chrome G guitars for the last year or so.

Price? Reasonable
Sound? Really good; not perfect, but better than anything else in the price range.

Hopefully I'll have this axe by this summer. We'll see.

A tweed Blues Junior and a Custom Shop Deluxe, (last year' sspecs with aged cherry burst and the 69 RW and Texas Special setup.
Not much but that is enough.

And complete my current 4 builds. 2 stratopartsters, 1 P. Bass and 1 small 3/4 body travel guit-fiddle

I don't NEED anything, but my goal is to trade my 2005 Custom Shop Tele for a Danocaster Tele or sell it so I can buy stuff for my car; some track pads, seatbelt harness, R-comp tires, and a nomex 2 -3 layer driving suit.

My only gear purchase for the rest of the year is going to be a new amp. Looking for a 15 to 40 watt tube amp. Been looking at either Marshall, Vox, or Orange. We'll see what happens. I have to wait a while for now.
