Maybe a dumb question... But I have a bridge that I may want to replace.. Really I would like to have new saddles... However its hard to find a bridge that I could buy where I wouldn't need to drill additional holes... So, my question is this... Is it possible to buy a bridge and then replace the saddles (with springs and screws) on the old plate ??

Unless there is a place on the internet that just sells saddles ??

are you looking for vintage 3 saddle type? if so Glendale Guitars is the place to go. Their bridges will also work without additional drilling. Best aftermarket Tele saddles and bridges there are.

Thanks black cat.. . Strange, instead of paying the $60+ on those saddles from Glendale I could easily buy a Wilkenson bridge for $22 and just take the saddles off the plate...

who is that in the signature photo ?

These are definitly worth checking out from stewmac. I installed these for a customer on a thinline, and the angled barrels worked wonders for a bit more accuracy in setting intonation. Decent price too!

You can try these folks too, they have compensated old style 3 piece bridges that allow better intonation than the standard issue www.ktsamerica.com (310)377-2066.
