I'm easy. A new American Standard in Charcoal Mist with rosewood board would do it for me.

I personally want the 72 Classic series Tele Thinline for my main electric and the GDC200 SCE for my acoustic electric. This thinline has a warm tone (because of the semi-hollow body and the wide-range pickups). I like the GDC200 SCE not only for it's full range but it's distinctive looks.

I'd like a 12-string Strat, but a VG might do the job and fill a few of the holes in my guitar arsenal.

A 1964 Strat body in Dakota Red with a left handed neck with rosewood fingerboard from 1962, a voodoo pickguard that reverses the bridge pickup angle, texas special pickups, 4 springs on the tremelo, throw away the trem arm, string it with 11's and slap a Harley -Davidson skull sticker on the pickguard!

Hmm.....I really like the ones I have. Could I get another strat?

What would I want?

Hmmm...I'm going to go the opposite way....I'd like to get an "airport" guitar. (One that plays well and can...well, survive the airport, or rather, I'll survive if something happens to it while I'm flying!)

Let's go with a MiM strat or a Squire Standard (left handed) either black or sunburst with Seymours (double humbucker or JB Jr. in the bridge, a pickup from an American Fender in the middle, and a Texas Tone in the neck), a blocked out bridge (ala Clapton) and some jumbo frets....

And of course, if it's going to the airport, I had better get a Gator Case for it....

OK....anything?

How about a Strat with a sunburst to natural finish as opposed to brown that it made out of....African olivewood. Maple neck, scalloped fretboard based off of the neck dimensions of a '59. And, of course, a white pearl pickguard.

Let's throw some Schaller tuning keys on it to polish off the neck. (and, fret markers ala Jackson on the maple neck.)

Hmmm...what else?

Just for giggles, let's throw in a Floyd Rose for the bridge, a preamp, and as for pickups?

Seymour Duncan SH-6 in the Bridge, a Texas tone in the neck, and something stock in the middle.
