got the DRRI, however when i use the reverb theres this rattling sound and the higher the reverb the worse it gets... its not feedback as i tried moving all over the room and it still happens. also, when i flip the amp into standby, not off but standby, it makes a popping sound, even if i turn the volume down to 0. anyone know whats going on with my new amp?

You're switcing the amp on right?
Power for 2 minutes, or 30 seconds (as I'm prone to doing) then standby.

Popping can simply be static (it is winter), it can also be a loose connection on the tank itself, If this is new take it back for replacement or warranty, If its used, have it serviced at a authorized center.

I dunno about the rattling on the verb, it might be something loose/damaged. If it is new exchange it rather than troubleshoot. As far a popping when placed in standby (Power=ON Standby=Standby {switch down}) that is normal.

Follow the procedure to turn On
Power=ON (for a minute or so) plug in your stuff
Standby=ON

Break time
Standby=Standby (down)

Turn Off
Standby=Standby
Power=Off (You don't have to wait here and if I remember correctly manual notes that you can flick down both when done)

Hope that helps
