I am also curious about how much time in between that guitar and the previous one.

Didn't but any guitars in 2010. Bought at least a couple basses in 2009 though. Most recent was a Peavey T-40, and 7 or 8 months prior, an Epi Thunderbird.

I picked up my Hwy 1 Honey Blonde Tele this past spring, then a A&L Acoustic a couple months after. That will have to do for a while, even though I've been lusting after a couple of Gretsch's.

I almost was afraid to say I purchased a Les Paul, but see that several of us had. Two days ago I picked up a mint 1994 Epiphone Les Paul Plus w/equally mint case, from it's original owner. Made in Korea, honey burst (I don't think the finish is poly, is it?), tulip tuners.

No, almost all Epi's are poly, unless you got an MIJ not made for export or something. Conversely almost all Gibsons are nitro. I remember one short-lived Gibson LP that had the letters "SL" after it for "sans lacquer," but that's the only Gibson I can remember not being nitro.

My last guitar was a Roadhouse Strat just before Christmas. Last guitar before that was an Epi Les Paul about 30 seconds earlier. Did get a P Bass for my son since though.

Just got a La Cabronita Especial build from a friend of mine. Might strip is and refinish it in blonde or sonic blue then give the neck another few coats of nitro to darken it up and relic the whole thing. Might just keep it as it, depends on how the Burgundy Mist grows on me.

I am wondering how much I will like it. I have only really seen one Burgundy Mist that I really liked and it was on a Strat with rosewood neck, but with this one being an all nitro finish I wonder how nicely it will wear after a while. Might make for a nice relic.

This thread is pure guitar porn. Wow. Thanks.

'62 Reissue Jaguar, Shell Pink, MIA Thin Skin, last summer. What a sweetie of a guitar.
