I don't care about them now, because modern clowns seem to be kid friendly, (but not too friendly). But when I was young, clowns were utter extravaganza and a bit scary yes, overloaded caracters, too much noise, too much color, too much of everything. Now we have politicians to play that role. Oops hijacking a thread already, sorry.

Hey Bill wassup? Well since you were bored, I shall give you the coup de grâce with one of my stories. Today I almost bought an Epiphone Casino at my local guitar center. I tried a two tone sunburst with P90, I thought I was John Lee Hooker.  Now I have to lock myself up in my apartment to avoid that purchase. :( I can't seriously practice my bass playing in the precence of a new guitar. So this one will have to wait. When I started to play bass, at first, I quickly learned a few tricks, but tricks are not enough to play any instrument. Anyway, I love it, learning to play bass is fun. On another story, I am currently reading the Keith Richard's bio, and as the strings of my Tele are due for a change, I will temporarely turn it into an open G five strings tone killer just for the sake of playing some Stones stuff à la Keef, should be a lot of fun.

See ya.

You are strong my friend... but wait, are they open tomorrow? :D I hear Hooker calling!

Im reading Keiths book too, I found chapter 1 quite funny...I dont live in that town, but I know it very well. The old local boys say that the "car" was confiscated by the sherif and was never seen again. There are 1001 different stories about that here in Arkansas

Good luck with the Bass, but I hear the Casino calling

For the sake of the Bass learning process, the Casino must wait. I should stop at once to go to that temptation temple. But on the other hand, it is a cheap way to try out guitars that I'll never be able to buy, for the scientific purpose of comparing the tones, I expose myself to the craving, the hunger for the elusive ultimate guitar tone. Anyway, it is just a delayed buy for me. I'll be there for the Casino when the time comes. :)
