Thanks for sending this info along Mike.

Went down to check out the Pro Reverb amp. There was a gentleman that wandered over and we started discussing the amp in detail - seems that he owns a 1970 Pro Reverb...he was able to ascertain through the numbers on the transformers that this model was a 1976. He pointed out that it had a Master volume (which it did) and that this was not overly desireable and created extra and unnecessary circuitry. Also, there was an issue with the reverb circuit. The price was set at $899. I asked if he thought that the price was a bit high and he said yes. He stated that the price should be in the $650 to $750 range. Bottom line, although the amp sounded nice there seemed to be too many issues with it and I decided to pass.....I did however learn some things and as ususal I had a lot of fun. :D We will see what turns up in the future.....
I'm glad you passed on it. I think you'd be much happier with the tone of a 1968-1970 model. Just my opinion.....Mike

G'afternoon pickers, it's warmed up to 14 F this afternoon in Toronto Canada. I'm just in from grocery shopping, so time to heat up the 6L6s and warm this joint up.

Cheers, out

Thanks for posting Beaubs, I've been thinking of you after hearing of the frigid temps in your area. Stay warm Bro. 8)
