I would like to learn how to build my own guitars. What do I need to know? Is there a website I should go to learn more?

It's not something you learn over night. It can be a pretty expensive hobby, since you need quite a lot of tools to make your own guitar from scratch.

Well, bluesdude1991, people are studying guitar/music/acoustics engineering for years to become guitar builders. Just a few become Master builders. Around the web, there are plenty of great DIY guitar kits, featuring all the parts you need - body - with all the hardware, neck - with nut and fret and all the little things (inlays), electronics - preassembled pickguard with pickups, potentiometers, switch and output jack. It's a great chance to 'build' your own guitar and paint it your own unique style. But building from scratch is... lets just say that the things you have to know aren't one or two. But with enough passion and free time you can read theory. Like Sandwich said above, you'll need some tools, which may cost a lot... but the choice is yours!
If you really want it DO IT! If you don't touch the stars, whatever - you learned to fly 8)
Good Luck with your future projects!

There are a number of places where you can get kits to build guitars, and the kit prices aren't too bad, so you can get an idea if its something you enjoy before you go out and buy all kinds of tools and parts. Just do a search on the web...
