OK guys, I'm going to be sending everyone who PMed my paypal information in just a few minutes. Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to it, I've had an extremely busy weekend.

Okay, so as far as where to actually send the parts to, I've gotten in touch with a family friend who is willing to let me use their business address. :) If you have any parts that you'd like to send, please send me a separate PM for the coordinates and let me know what you'd like to send. That way if two people have the same part, I can let them know about it before they go through the trouble of sending it. I'm also thinking that if by chance I don't happen to use it on the guitar then I'll send it back to you.

You face a difficult decision. You have total control of the path you take. And what ever the outcome, you will either regret or enjoy it for years to come.

Wow, it looks like I have almost enough now to take care of the neck! :D I'm getting super excited now that the wheels are moving on this. Thanks to everyone who've helped out in one way or another so far, I really appreciate it. :)

Tomorrow I'm going to measure my Squier's neck and get a set of specific specs together. Then I'll start comparing prices and everything. Does anyone know what the best way of measuring the thickness of a neck would be?

For pickups I think I'd like to use Ceri's American Standards. And 53magnatone's tuners and other parts (except I won't need the pickup covers if Ceri has some with the pickups, and I already have some knobs I could use).

Hi everyone: been away from the computer for a couple of days and only just now catching up. So...

Okely-dokely: those Am Std pickups will be in the mail to you, covers and all. I'll PM you for an address.

Apart from that, an interesting and sensible set of specs. That's a player's mind at work. Good! 8)

Carry on, people - C

EDIT: rats - again I stupidly can't quite tell if my PM has been sent properly or not. TGS, if you don't find a PM from me right about now, would you contact me again, please? Lawks - why am I suddenly having such trouble with simple technology...?

This PM business is driving me up the wall, too. Just sent you one too, TGS.

Anyway, just to let you know I sent a little something via PayPal just now. Hope it arrives safe and sound! :D

Have a good one folks, rainy day here: time to grab the 6string and play the blues!!

8-)

PS: Ceri, just sent you a PM to test this thing. It's apparently still in my outbox, could you check?

Cheers

Across the states today we need blues for a huge snow, sleet, freezing rain and ice storm. A veritable "Couldn't Stand The Weather" potpourri, if you wouldn't mind. 8)

Hey Nutter, I've noticed when sending PM's it will set in your outbox for some time before sending. Why this is I don't

I think my tired, old brain suddenly sussed it. Does the PM sit in the Outbox till the recipient opens it, and only then move to the Sent Messages tray?

Oh dear, I feel very slow... :?

Cheers - C
