Post subject: fender sidekick switcher amp?

I don't know a lot about these amps, I just got one off of craigslist (came with guitar). Anyways the gain and reverb switches are on a pedal and the gain doesn't seem to work. Any ideas of what may be wrong? Or just info on the amp?

It could be a dead switch within the footswitch assembly.

I owned one of these years ago but never had a single problem with it.

When did you get yours? Just trying to get an age on it. I'm thinking mine is from late '80s/early '90s.

I bought it new in 1988 and sold it off in 2005. It was made in Taiwan.
