I seriously think you will have to do more than just post a topic on their forum about how much you love Fender in order to get a contract or endorsement from Fender. You may love Fender more than anything in the world, but you need to be able to play as well. Get out there and play and become known as a good player, then maybe they'll want to offer you something.

Sure, sponsors don't care how good you are or what kind of following you have. All they care about is did you fill out the application completely.

And remember, it doesn't matter what it sounds like as long as you look good while your playing it.

Here's an idea....

Hey Fender, I'll let you put a bitchin custom Fender paint job on my Chevy Suburban(lots of space there!) in exchange for a few amps and axes. I'll be a rolling ad in the Seattle area. Lots of musicians live here you can reach that way. Call me.

Guess I shouldn't offer up my Civic. It pales in comparison to the size of your Suburban.

I would appreciate even just a 10-15% discount from your authorized vendors, and maybe a NAMM pass or two.

I asked nicely, I should get one, right?
